`On device` long loading if empty

Steps to reproduce

1. Install Nextcloud Android app (for example, Nextcloud Android Files 2026-02-19)
2. Log in
3. Open On device menu via Hamburger
4. Count time while empty list is loading

Expected behaviour

Empty list loads instantly.

Actual behaviour

It can take up to 25 seconds to load an empty list. However, if I download/cache some file, then on device list loads almost instantly.

There is no issue on Samsung A24, Android 16, Nextcloud 3.34.1 F-Droid.
