Dock icon persists after closing settings window with ⌘+W

Bug description

When opening the settings window (via task bar) and then closing the window again via cmd+w the icon remains in the dock.

When closing the settings window without a keyboard shortcut via the red x, the dock icon is (correctly) removed.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open settings window
2. Hit cmd+w
3. Window closes
4. Dock icon remains
5. Open settings window
6. Click red x
7. Window closes
8. Dock icon is gone

Expected behavior

When using cmd+w to close the window the dock icon is also removed, just like it is already when using the red x

This is intended by design. According to Apple human interface guidelines, our client falls into the category of agents which do not represent a user activity by itself but works in the background. The main interaction also happens through the menu bar extra. It intentionally is this way to stay consistent with the platform experience, user expectations and not clutter up the dock with unnecessary items.

This is exactly the issue! The dock is being cluttered because using cmd+w doesn't remove the dock icon.

Clicking the red x and using cmd+w should lead to the same result:

1. Close window,
2. make dock icon disappear.

But right now, cmd+w only performs step 1, leaving the dock icon behind.

So if I If I use my muscle-memory-cmd+w to close the window, I'm stuck with the dock icon uselessly hanging around in my dock.
To then remove the dock icon, I have to click nextcloud in the menu bar again, select e.g. settings, then use the red X to close the window. Only then the icon disappears. This is pretty annoying, so that's why I created this issue.

This bug is solely about a contradiction between performing the same action via the mouse or via a keyboard shortcut. It has nothing to do with design guidelines or changing the existing the design.
The fix is simply to make the keyboard shortcut behave the same way the mouse already does.

Oh, I just noticed that you are right and the app indeed behaves differently when closing the window with ⌘+W compared to the other methods.
