Cannot move mails into Inbox subfolders since Mail 5.8.0

Steps to reproduce

Open Nextcloud Mail
Select an email located in the Inbox
Try to drag & drop the email into a subfolder of Inbox
Alternatively, use right click → "Move to"

Expected behavior

Inbox subfolders should be selectable as valid move targets
Emails should be movable into Inbox subfolders via drag & drop and context menu

Actual behavior

Since updating to Mail 5.8.0:

Inbox subfolders are greyed out during drag & drop operations
Dropping mails into these folders is not possible
When using right click → "Move to", the Inbox subfolders are not displayed at all

This makes it impossible to move mails from Inbox into its subfolders.

The problem specifically affects subfolders below Inbox
The same issue is also present in Mail 5.9.0-alpha
Browser cache refresh did not resolve the issue
This functionality worked correctly before the update

This is not reproducible generally. I can move to sub mailboxes. I just confirm that I can not move to special use mailboxes like Draft and Sent. Looking into that.

The Move thread and Move message actions do show all mailboxes in the mailbox picker.

Thank you for the quick response. Our users reported to us that it was not working at all. I just verified it again myself.

Using "Move to" is actually possible. However, with drag & drop, the Inbox subfolders have been greyed out since this version.

Not being able to move to Draft and Sent is intentional. This was in the drag-and-drop implementation since 2020:

Look up the database row for one of the affected mailboxes in oc_mail_mailboxes and share the my_acls value.

is the logic to find out if a mailbox is droppable. The only logical explanation for your described symptoms are incorrect ACLs.

Attached are the ACLs of the three folders.

I also discovered something interesting: once I move the email into the Test folder using the “Move” action, I can then move it again via drag and drop into the other subfolder without any issues.

What does not work is dragging and dropping directly from Inbox into the subfolder.

The ACLs are fine because they contain i. I'm running out of ideas.

I personally don’t use subfolders of the inbox, but since we received several reports from users shortly after the update, I assume that it definitely worked at some point.
