Tracks from files not automatically scanned/imported

Running Maps 0.1.6 on NC 18.0.4

Newly created track files are not automatically added under "Your tracks"

Running occ maps:scan-tracks manually adds the missing tracks in the app. The command always lists all track files found in user's files as 'added', event those that were already present in the app.

Background jobs are correctly configured using system's cron and verified in settings to run regularly.

Are your tracks in groupfolders, external storage or in shared folders? Just to get some information, which might be usefull.

I have an external storage folder for the user, but there are no tracks there. Tracks are stored in a regular, unshared folder under files root.

@eneiluj do you have any idea? Do we need to scan for track files with events like images or is a search, like I did for the .maps files in https://github.com/nextcloud/maps/pull/386/files#diff-e3d851decbeb7f244ec9c88af393dada line 67 getAllMaps sufficient? This would reduce code complexity alot.

Got the same issue. Have to execute the command by myself. The tracks are stored in a shared folder. I do not use external storage.

Same issue with nc 20.0.2 and maps 0.1.8 gpx files in my instant upload directory.not in external storage.
How can I see the background job log of maps ?

Same issue with Nextcloud 22.0.0 and Maps 0.1.9 on Ubuntu 20.04
Nextcloud cron.php runs fine every 5 minutes via systemd service and timer.
But new gpx tracks only appear in Maps once I have run a manual "./occ maps:scan-tracks"

Can confirm, most tracks were not added automatically. Only one quite recent one that I ceated via OSMAnd, but as favorites export only. Other (longer/both newer and older and "real" gpx tracks, partially from other apps like GPSLogger on Android) were only added after manually executing maps:scan-tracks.

It is a shared folder, but

• the one track that was actually automatically added is uploaded by myself as the share owner
• the other ones that were only added after manually scanning were uploaded by a share "taker", i.e. another user (on the same NC instance though)

Both were uploaded to the some shared folder, though different ones/different (sub)direcories. Both users correctly see/had their GPX tracks imported then.

Same, never been loading any tracks with NC 27 and 28 at least. GpxPod sees them all.
