Searching in files fails with unified search

Steps to reproduce

1. Type the name of an existing file in the unified search input

Expected behaviour

The file should be found.

Actual behaviour

The file is not found, browser console shows a failed request.

Server configuration

Operating system: Ubuntu 20.04

Web server: Apache 2.4

Database: MariaDB

PHP version: 7.4

Nextcloud version: latest master

Nextcloud log shows this (although it's a bit hard to say what's relevant, because it is spammed with deprecation messages):

The same problem here. Users with large amount of data can't do any search. Only users with a low amount of data can do it.
The same error in log as above.
No slow queries visible in mysql-slow.log during the search, the error pops up within 2-3 seconds.
Ubuntu 20.04, Mysql 8, PHP 7.4.3, nginx/1.18.0, Nextcloud 20.0.8, Redis_version:5.0.7
In my case it is a large server with 128 GB RAM, 64 CPU cores. Before the Nextcloud version 20.0.8 this was not visible.
