  • Single emoji: it should be split view specific as the unified view has the layout gap.
  • Background color for file previews: it can be omitted for both modes as we don't actually need it.

While you're at it, please check .file-preview__progress for uploading incoming files, should be a couple of lines as well. Maybe, move it to the left?
