🪟 Meta info display in rooms

Motivation

#5865 sparked the discussion not to implement it or implement it differently for the fact that a lot of meta data is already displayed. However this doesn't make the feature bad in my opinion but is the straw that broke the camels back and we should rather discuss how we can improve the overall display of such information and maybe think about "hints/pointers" and that display the info or shorten/collapse certain infos.

For a better understanding, see below how the web is displaying each of the items and how the 2 worst case scenarios look like (I made the screen size smaller on web on purpose!):

Thoughts and ideas

• The change of the worst case scenarios is small I think
• Web has non-expanding single-line message pinning, Mobile does multi-line scroll-able pinned message
• Auto deletion on web is always shown as the last message in the chat, on mobile it is pinned. Afaik it is a calendar-call feature, so we could also just show an icon in the top bar and display the info in the room-info screen (like we do with File shares in the files client if it has a expiration date)
• Priority in what to display in case too many of them would be present is possible but also is different for every user, i.e. I don't care too much about auto deletion of one-time event call rooms but do care when the next call would be in a room cause most of my day is about (scheduled) calls and 1on1 interactions
• We could also make the hide-able on click and would display them again when entering the room again? So you can regain the space when needed?
• Since they hover above the chat I would also argue to rather put them into the top-bar for (single-lined) pinned/meeting info, which also saves some pixels (Whatsapp, Signal and Teams do it this way, didn't check telegram)

As usual, we can adjust this in step:

1. Consistent visual style: Even if there are 3 boxes, they could look more similar – standing out only when needed.
2. Height adjustment
   2a. Combine into 1 box: Using a horizontal divider line instead of separate boxes, this will save a bit of height and visual complexity. All the info will be shown still. This could also be paired with the ability to collapse the box.
   2b. Stacking like mobile notifications: Scales well, but has the risk of info being missed. If by default all are shown until collapsed, it is the same as 2a), just a different visual style.

iOS has this stacked notification style, it might be a good visual cue that there are more below:

Agreed that it's less than ideal in mobile. As @jancborchardt said unifying the style already helps a lot. On the app we can make sure for all items we add an icon, and make it one-line with the possibility to expand. This already gives a notification-style look

Out of office:	Show less info, and adjust spacing so there is less whitespace	We can show it near the input like in the browser (to distinguish from the rest of the items which are shown sticky), and show only a small title, which can be expanded to show the rest of the details
Auto deletion	No adjustment required since it could scroll away	Add a dismiss button
Pinned message	Use a one-line layout	Use a similar one-line layout and add a pin icon in the beginning (now there is nothing to show it is a pinned message)
Next meeting	Seems to automatically get hidden on narrow screens for me?	Again turn into a one-line layout and show the meeting time first as it is arguably more important

We implemented event conversations #4846. The calendar icon in the event conversations show the meeting time. We can use the same calendar icon to display next meeting for other conversations as well and hide the remaining options (delete and archive). wdyt?
