Eye of Ayak First Attack

The Eye of Ayak is only supposed to be 5t on its spec,
but for some reason, every time I attack while I don't have a visible timer, it always makes the first attack 5t and the rest 3t, so my attack timer is never properly synced.

Do you have a video of it happening? The plugin does rely on seeing the different animation to know it's 5 tick, so maybe the specific content you were doing was messing with it.

I tried replicating it just attacking some Gnomes, and it worked as normal.

The bug only seems to work in the Whisperer fight, for some reason.

And to amend my description, you can see that whenever I make my second attack while I already have an attack cooldown, it marks the attack as 5t, and never again.

I can't reproduce the problem so it's going to be hard for me to fix it. Maybe something with your gear?

Next steps are if possible can you get a debug build of runelite going and enable the player overlay the one that shows (A: <number>) above my head in the clip.

As you can see when we added support for the eye 5t spec #91 we detect it by looking for ID 12394 and above my head you can see normal 3t 12397 so everything appears to be working, I'm curious what is happening for you.

I was able to use the Identificator plugin to see my animation ID, and although I couldn't capture video of it (I can go back and get it if necessary), my character only used animation 12397 and still had the pattern of 3t, 5t, 3t forever after.

I double checked, and when I actually use the Ayak spec, it uses ID 12394. So allegedly, the plugin should know which attack is actually being used.

EDIT: I got some footage of the bug against Blue Dragons, to verify my claim and also demonstrate that this isn't somehow limited to Whisperer.

Yeah so it does look a lot like #112 which I also can't reproduce 😢 . The lance was also being mistakenly registered as 5t. My guess for that one is something wrong with item stats since that's where we get the info that it's 3t in the first place.

I would need some logs during getWeaponSpeed to figure out what's happening.

Update:
I fully uninstalled the plugin (and closed the client, to ensure that my RL profile would update with its absence),
then relaunched RL, reinstalled the plugin, and it now works totally fine.

I have no idea why; maybe a bit got flipped and I needed to get a fresh copy of the plugin. 🤷‍♂️

Reopening this with an addendum:

Upon relaunching the client, I found that the issue had once again resurfaced.
The only way to fix the desync issue is to uninstall and reinstall the plugin: no restart of the client is required.

It seems that the issue comes up when launching a RL client (and profile) which already has the plugin installed, for some reason. Could the issue be caused by a bad config "setting" being saved and loaded by RL, perhaps? Not a clue, myself.
