Hi fellow NIO and Home Assistant owners! 👋
We’re building an unofficial Home Assistant integration using NIO’s official EU Open Telematics API. Connecting and signing in works, but the actual vehicle data seems to differ between cars and countries. For example, some owners receive a correct timestamp and odometer while battery SoC is zero or missing.
We’d like to understand how widespread this is and show NIO that reliable vehicle data in Home Assistant matters to more than one owner. No logs, screenshots, exact values, or technical API testing are required. A simple report is enough.
Please tell us:
Even one sentence is welcome, for example: “Belgium, ET5 Touring — odometer and timestamp work, but SoC, range, and charging status do not.”
Please update the same reply if something changes. Never post credentials, tokens, your full VIN, precise location, or other private information.
Every additional car, model, and country helps make the situation clearer—and helps us ask NIO to fix it. We all want our SoC in Home Assistant. We are legion; we need you. 😄
