How can I accomplish this layout in Aerospace?

I have a widescreen monitor. How can I accomplish this layout in Aerospace? I want to always have a central main window (probably browser, or IDE) and 4 smaller windows (Spotify, whatsapp, etc) around the main one:

Initially have the workspace in vertical-tiled layout, let's call them [1,2,3,4,5]. Once you have all your windows open, go into service mode. Move focus to window 2, join-with the leftward window (1), then switch to horizontal-tiled (this will only apply to the tree containing windows 1 & 2, once joined). Shift your focus to window 5 and repeat.

Looks cumbersome to do, but it's only about 6 key strokes so goes pretty fast once you're used to doing it.

Thank for the reply. I was actually looking for a way to have this layout as my standard way of work for ALL apps. If I need 6 key strokes to get here then I might as well use a general window manager like Rectangle or BetterTouchTools. The whole idea of Aerospace if for it to manage the windows for me automatically so I don't need to keep arranging them all the time myself (at least that's what I thought it was the purpose of this app). Both Amethyst and Yabai have the ability to automatically arrange the screens to this layout I showed (they call it binary space partition mode), but I find them to be very buggy and unstable.

That's the difference between manual and dynamic tiling window manager. Coming from i3, I am more of a manual tiling window manager person, that's why AeroSpace is what it is, I advocate for simplier window layouts.

If you are looking for a dynamic functionality, you may keep an eye on #260 but that is not something that it's going to be implemented soon
