Configuring the Energy Tab in Home Assistant for PowerOcean

I got my PowerOcean installed yesterday, and after realising the other EcoFlow integration didn't work was thrilled to find this one.
I have it all working except that I'm not sure if all the info I need for the Energy Dashboard to work is there, or if I'm just not using it correctly.
Is there an entity available for "Grid Consumption"?
I have the entities for everything else lined up and working great, but right now It's all thrown off by me not being able to see what's still coming from the grid, even though I can see it in the App on my phone.

Hi! The sensor "totalElectricityGeneration" (which you have assigned to "Return to grid") is the energy that has been generated by the solar panels. It doesn't belong there, because solar energy is also used by your home and might be used to charge the battery. It belongs to the solar panels area, which you have assigned correctly.

Unfortunately the PowerOcean integration doesn't provide proper energy entities for "Electricity grid".

The best would be to get this information from your electricity meter. Depending on the type of meter there are different methods of gathering that data. This page has some information on that: https://www.home-assistant.io/docs/energy/electricity-grid/

If that's not an option for you, you could try to create an integral helper sensor. But as the PowerOcean integration doesn't provide separate entities for import and export, this might not work as expected.

Thanks for spotting my mistake there.
Unfortunately the only available source from my provider is delayed by a few days and is also apparently broken currently.
Has anyone asked Ecoflow if the data might be made available from their API as it is visible in the app?

I have actually ordred one of the Tuya CT clamps off aliexpress and it looks like I can get the numbers out of that.

On this topic:

It seems that the '[today|total|year]ElectricityGeneration' sensor values update too slow and are shifted by almost an hour, making the Energy dashboard all confused.

To that end I created several Integral helpers that total up the energy generated by the individual PV Strings:

For the Grid Import/Export values, I use my Tibber (Energy Provider) Integration:

Same here! Updates about once an hour which leads to strange effects like no solar production in one hour and double the amount the next hour... You could use an integral helper from the power sensor (mpptpwr) to avoid that...

A quick follow-up question. Have the old entities become active again, or have new ones been created?

I also added the charging and discharging parameters for each battery. That's why there were a few more parameters than just the ones that were originally missing. Thanks for the feedback.

I didn't realise mine had broken until earlier today. Updated to the latest version though and it fixed it!

Everything's just become active again - I found the update had fixed it because a dashboard wasn't entirely broken anymore!

So if you have EF smart meter installed (most new installs have it) you should have pcsmeterpower available. If you have, just add following (under), when you have all this you can add Grid Import Energy Total and Grid Export Energy Total into your Energy dashboard.

Thanks, but that is grid. I need charge and dischare for the battery packs ;-)
Grid Import and Export i use my PPC Gateway from my electricity meter.
