Keeps on asking Password and then dies

Hi,

While running following command:

svn2git <url> --username lovehuria.srijan --no-minimize-url --verbose

This asks for password at least three times and then says

Can't create session: Unable to connect to a repository at URL '<url>': No more credentials or we tried too many times.
Authentication failed at /usr/local/Cellar/git/2.8.3/libexec/git-core/git-svn line 1468.

I have this issue. I figured out that you need to press ENTER once first, nothing will happen, and then you can type your password and press ENTER again. For some reason, it does not read the input as soon as the prompt appears.
