Umbilical venous catheterization is an emergent procedure to catheterize a newborn baby using the umbilical vein, allowing medical staff to quickly infuse fluids and drugs.
Deployed to the Oculus Quest 2 head-mounted display (HMD). The Oculus Quest is a stand-alone, 6-degree freedom VR HMD. In addition, the Quest is an all-in-one system, meaning there are no cables, external computers, or external cameras, making it a portable VR system. As such, this headset is the current leader in commercial VR headsets.
- Unity (2020.3.7f1) game engine
- XR Software Development Kit (SDK) to integrate Unity with Quest 2. This SDK allows us to deploy to any headset to achieve maximum flexibility quickly.
- High-quality assets were developed using Maya and imported into the simulation.

- Add all the required packages for the project
- Download this repository
- Generate Android build of ECG Main
- Use SideQuest to install build onto the headset
- Play the simulation on Oculus Quest 2!
