Sure have at it. I set it to an MIT licence. Hope you have fun and yes it was fun for me, a good while back. And not to deter you, but at this point I would say it is a bit dated in its use of some libraries and coding.
For instance although there is nothing wrong with jQuery (remember that best of class lib :)
I would not choose it today, but I still very much like Cytoscape.js (best to upgrade) for 2D graphs.
At one point I started to work with some 3D graphing concepts, but never took it to far.
