Prepare for Alpine 3.24 release in May 2026

Alpine Linux release states that:

Each May and November we make a release branch from edge.

So it can be expected for Alpine v3.24 to be released soon.

Tasks

Suggest to:

• Add alpine3.24
• Drop alpine3.22
• Set alpine3.24 as default

and implement through:

• Modify versions.json and directory additions / deletions

Follow up with https://github.com/nodejs/unofficial-builds

• Update recipes/musl/Dockerfile & recipes/arm64-musl/Dockerfile to build FROM alpine:3.23 (instead of alpine:3.22)
