node-v8 for Windows seems dead #192

Since the inception of the Node.js V8 lkgr binaries project, compiling for Windows has been in very poor shape. If there was an error preventing the creation of binaries, it often took weeks or even months to fix it.

There are no Windows binaries for over three months now.

Obviously, the project lacks people who can care about Node.js canary Windows binaries.

Since Node.js is an OSS project, there can be no hard feelings or pressure towards the great team, who already spends its free unpaid time supporting the main branches of the project, on a huge hard daily work. So maybe it's time to raise this issue with Microsoft and Google? It is possible somehow to constantly keep Chrome Canary for Windows in a more or less healthy state. Node.js is an important enough project for all IT and the cutting edge of development need to be available to users and developers on Windows.
