LICENSE lines 26-30 in node-v22.16.0.pkg is unreadable

What steps will reproduce the bug?

1. run installer node-v22.16.0.pkg
2. scroll down to line 31.
3. see the follwing:

next line is unintelligible.

line 31:
associated documentation files (the "Software"),

How often does it reproduce? Is there a required condition?

when i installed, it happens.

What is the expected behavior? Why is that the expected behavior?

th entire license should be visible to read.

What do you see instead?

nearly all the license is readable, but lines 26-30 are smashed into one line.

It might be some rendering issue that's outside our control. Do you have the same issue with newer versions of the installer?

node tools/license2rtf.mjs < LICENSE > license.rtf creates the file that's passed to productbuild, apple's installer build tool. The resulting .rtf looks okay to me and renders properly in a third-party viewer like libreoffice.

I checked node-v24.1.0.pkg and the lines look correct. Git blame says there was a formatting change.

Since it is fixed in later versions, and appears to be cosmetic, should I close the issue?

I'll close it. Commits get back-ported after some time when possible, so an upcoming 22.x release will likely have the fix.
