Distillery v0.3.0 is out — the team release. Four new team skills, session hooks, a corrections chain, and new data model fields for entry lifecycle management.
Team Skills
Distillery grows from a solo knowledge base to a team-aware system with four new skills:
/digest— team activity summaries across your shared knowledge base. See what your team has been capturing, reviewing, and correcting./gh-sync— syncs GitHub issues and PRs into Distillery as knowledge entries. Track decisions, context, and outcomes alongside your other knowledge./investigate— deep context builder that assembles a structured research brief from multiple knowledge entries, feed items, and GitHub activity. Use it before a meeting or when onboarding to a new area./briefing— rewritten as a solo-first knowledge dashboard that also supports team mode. The default surfaces your personal activity, review queue, and recent entries. Pass--teamfor the full team view. All four skills are transport-agnostic — they work over both stdio (local) and HTTP (hosted team) transports.
Session Hooks
Distillery now hooks into Claude Code's lifecycle events:
UserPromptSubmit— nudges memory capture by counting prompts in your session and surfacing a reminder when you've been working for a while without distillingSessionStart— fires a briefing hook on session start so your knowledge dashboard greets you automaticallyThe
/setupskill configures these hooks with scope-aware placement — plugin-level vs. project-level depending on your setup.Corrections Chain
