Paired Engineering

A practical delivery model for AI-enabled software teams.

Current public package version: v2.0.2

What This Is

Paired Engineering helps software teams use AI in real delivery work without weakening judgment, verification, or capability growth.

It brings together the core model, rollout guidance, leadership material, workshop content, exercise packs, and pilot evidence tools.

It is designed to do two things:

  • help people understand the approach quickly
  • help adopters put the approach into practice

Why This Exists

Most organizations are rolling out AI tools faster than they are redesigning how teams actually work with them.

This project starts from a few simple ideas:

  • access is not enablement
  • speed is not capability
  • usage is not value
  • better output is not better judgment

How This Repo Is Organized

  • guides/ for orientation and adoption pathing
  • framework/ for the core model and supporting notes
  • leadership/ for executive and public-facing narrative material
  • workshops/ for facilitation and workshop design
  • exercises/ for worksheet packs and scenario cards
  • evidence/ for pilot-measurement and reference deployment material
  • slides/ for generated public-safe PowerPoint exports
