Fixed

  • Ribbon tab persistence in Civil 3D — The CanopyCode ribbon tab no longer disappears after save/close/reopen or workspace switch. The tab is now automatically restored whenever it's missing, using the same approach as other major AutoCAD plugins.
  • Civil 3D startup stability — Increased the document-open cooldown for Civil 3D environments (auto-detected) to prevent early-command crashes when heavy plugin environments are still loading. Civil 3D users see a clear message when the plugin is still initializing.

Details

This is a targeted stability fix for Civil 3D users experiencing:

  1. The CanopyCode ribbon tab disappearing after certain operations
  2. Crashes when running commands too soon after opening a document

Both issues were reported by users running Civil 3D with multiple other plugins loaded.
