CanopyCode v1.0.12
CanopyCode v1.0.12 — March 29, 2026
Configuration Dialog Overhaul
- Redesigned CC_CONFIGURE with 5 streamlined tabs (Rules, Appearance, Data, Table Columns, Text/Labels) and modern collapsible sections
- Live preview panel shows how your saved, impacted, and removed trees will appear — updates instantly as you change settings
- Dialog remembers your last-open tab and which sections were expanded
New Features
- Per-group classification exclusions — each classification group independently controls whether Poor, Dead, and Invasive trees are excluded
- CRZ and SRP visibility toggles now work independently for saved and removed trees
- Trunk impact analysis — safety net that catches trees whose trunk physically overlaps the LOD boundary, even when CRZ/SRP are turned off
- Separate visibility toggles for saved and removed tree symbols
- "Pick Closed Polyline(s)..." button directly in each area group — jump straight from configuration to selecting polylines
- "Show Areas" button highlights your area boundaries with colors for quick visual verification
- Inline area color pickers moved into each area group for easier access
- CRZ/SRP preview now shows your selected linetype, lineweight, and transparency
Layer & Color Improvements
- ACI (AutoCAD Color Index) support across all color settings — fixes CTB plot style issues when drawings are X-Referenced
- New "Preserve manual layer colors" option — when enabled, CanopyCode won't override layer colors you've set manually in Layer Properties Manager
- Removal X symbols now placed on dedicated layers — freeze or color X symbols independently from tree blocks
Bug Fixes
- Fixed area polyline picker losing newly created areas in certain workflows
- Fixed CRZ multiplier field not accepting decimal values (e.g., typing "1.5")
- Fixed DBH threshold rounding — trees at 23.01" DBH now correctly match groups with MaxDBH of 23
- Fixed Restore Defaults not resetting multiplier mode and label background color
- Fixed custom area trees not appearing in CC_VALIDATE summary and CSV export
- Fixed crash when running commands immediately after opening a file in Civil 3D
- Fixed arc/curve boundaries misclassifying trees near curved segments
- Fixed Units and Adjusted Units columns showing blank values for excluded trees
