CanopyCode v1.0.9
CanopyCode v1.0.9
Release Date: March 17, 2026
What's New
Multi-Document Support
- Each open drawing now has fully isolated tree data — switching between documents no longer risks overwriting project data
- Ribbon now reliably appears when creating or switching documents
Multiple Property Lines
- CC_SET_PROPERTYLINE now accepts multiple polylines (same workflow as CC_SET_ROW)
- Existing drawings with a single property line auto-migrate seamlessly
Custom Area System
- Custom areas now route trees to area-specific layers (e.g., CC_Trees_StreamBuffer_Saved)
- Custom area colors configurable in Drawing Standards with native AutoCAD color picker
- Property Line and ROW appear as built-in classification levels in the Areas tab
LOD & Area UX Improvements
- CC_SET_LOD and CC_SET_AREA now start in Add mode immediately — no extra prompts
- Inline Show toggle to visualize LOD/Area boundaries during selection
- Done keyword for explicit exit
- Shorter prompts optimized for dynamic input tooltips
Per-Group Unit Multipliers
- Each classification group now has its own unit multiplier
- Multiple calculation modes: Highest Wins, Stack, Area Only, Group Only
- Existing projects auto-migrate the global multiplier to the first group
CSV Export Improvements
- New export fields: Specimen Group, Classification Labels, Original/Adjusted Units, Area/Group Multipliers
LOD Visualization
- CC_SHOW_LOD command to visualize LOD polylines with color-coded highlights (green = add, red = subtract)
Bug Fixes
Civil 3D Stability
- Automatic suppression of the known Civil 3D Map module error dialog (c0000027) — no longer interrupts workflow
- Fixed crash when clicking ribbon buttons while a drawing is still opening
- Fixed crash when switching documents with a CanopyCode dialog open
- Fixed crash when reopening a file without restarting AutoCAD
- Fixed intermittent native crash caused by heavy validation running too early after file open
Data Safety
- Fixed data loss when working in unnamed (unsaved) drawings — data now persists correctly when you Save As
- Fixed async crash paths that could terminate AutoCAD during license validation or update checks
Area Classification
- Fixed area classification silently skipping areas due to name mismatch between configuration and assignment
Update Instructions
