Welcome to the Linux-Lessons wiki!

I am a high school computer science and special education teacher. This repository contains lessons that I developed for my Exploring Computer Science (ECS) and AP Computer Science Principles (CSP) courses I led at Everett High School in Everett Massachusetts.

The lessons were designed to fulfill several purposes:

1. Introduction to the use of the GNU-Linux operating system.

   * Command Line
   * Bash scripting
   * Documentation

2. Robotics

   * Students used the [Finch Robot - Birdbrain Technologies](https://www.birdbraintechnologies.com/finch/) 
   * Programming in Python

3. Networking - using command line tools

   * Ping
   * Traceroute
