Support for Angular v22

@dcniko because nx provides a lot more than just the management of multiple angular projects

@ciriousjoker after a quick bit of research and a chat with Claude, I’m of the opinion that such solutions will be unnecessary. An AI agent will handle it better - and without pulling in dependencies (or loading code that is simply superfluous). Everything is moving towards the most lightweight solutions possible.

I understand that the Nx team has lots to do, but as far as I can see in the codebase the v22 support is already done. Why is it not released? One of the big sellingpoints when we moved to Nx was the superb Angular compatability and support. It's totally fair that updates take a few weeks to support, but MONTHS... Why?

I am wondering what happened on nx catching up with latest angular versions? This is bit worrying for me, with the announcement of typescript 7 also, will this require even more waiting from nx side?

TypeScript 7 is another beast. First we need to wait for TypeScript 7.1 with the programmatic api. Then Angular must support it and probably the whole ecosystem.

ESLint StyleLint NX etc..

When creating new workspaces:
If create a new project with the option "(fullstack monorepo with Angular and Express)" it uses angular 21 yet.
If I chose Custom and so Angular, it uses angular 22

it did not bump to angular v22, when I did nx migrate latest

all the nx deps went up to v23.1.0, but angular deps is staying at v21 for me.

It seems like I first needed to migrate and select "required," and then run it again and select "optional." So, selecting the third option will only do the required one and omit the optional, even though it says it would do both...

I selected All (required and optional) and in package.json file changed angular packages to v22 and nx packages to v23
