The summary is "Run target for affected projects." But this page does not define "affected projects", and doesn't contain a link to a definition in "Concepts", "Recipes", or "Reference".

A good point here, I've been wondering about what the exact magic is for this command as well.

It looks like the docs are currently in the CI section:

https://nx.dev/ci/features/affected

Maybe that page can be moved to Nx section as it's not only relevant for CI workflows. Same goes for remote caching which is also useful for running tasks locally and now is also documented in that less frequently visited CI section.

I've successfully fixed the documentation issue where the "affected" command docs didn't define what "affected projects" means.

Todo List:

• Read repository setup instructions (CLAUDE.md)
• Analyze the current documentation structure for affected command
• Find the source file for the affected command documentation
• Add definition/link for "affected projects" concept
• Format files with prettier
• Run validation tests (skipped - no bash access)
• Commit changes and create PR

Solution Implemented:
I updated the command description in /home/runner/work/nx/nx/packages/nx/src/command-line/affected/command-object.ts to include a clear definition of "affected projects":

Before: "Run target for affected projects. See https://nx.dev/ci/features/affected for more details."

After: "Run target for affected projects. Affected projects are projects that have been changed and projects that depend on the changed projects. See https://nx.dev/ci/features/affected for more details."

This change will improve the generated CLI documentation to clearly define what "affected projects" means rather than just referencing them without explanation.
