Theme customization

We already have Syntax Highlighting/Semantic highlighting within context. I would like to see granularity for theme customization. The origin of this ask is highligting strings of text when in dark mode. Currently very difficult to be precise.

Attached is an example of my experience. Observe the lack of contrast.

Thanks @NGC6960-CCampbell — accepted. The low-contrast selection in dark mode is a real problem; moved out of Ideas into the backlog as a task, starting with stronger dark-mode selection contrast and then broader theme customization. We will follow up here when it ships. Closing as accepted/tracked.
