Can I use nub without its version management?

I have been using asdf forever, and I would like to not touch that part of my workflow. Can nub just use whatever version of node is configured by asdf or will it always need its own copy?

As per the documentation, Nub tries to use the node executable that’s available on your PATH. So using an external Node version manager should work just fine, as long as the installed Node version matches the version pinned by your project (if a version pin is configured).
