I started getting "[Comment.nvim] nil" in non-coding files after update

This is my Lazy entry:

    {'numToStr/Comment.nvim'},

This is my only config:

    opleader = { line = '<leader>c', block = '<leader>cc' },
    extra = { above = nil, below = nil, eol = '<leader>cA' },
})

It worked great few months back, now I got back to coding, updated everything (including Treesitter which now requires a separate CLI tool), and in normal code files (e.g. C, Lua, Python) it still works fine, but in files that match e.g.:

:set filetype? commentstring?
  filetype=conf
  commentstring=# %s

running my bindings returns:

[Comment.nvim] nil

...even though Nvim has no issues highlighting comments correctly:

Any chance it came up already and I'm just, like, bad at searching?

Your filetype has no backing parser, it was expected to fallback to vim.bo.commentstring but the api behaviour change from nvim core breaks this plugin so it end up with nil.
