Cryptic error during deployment despite no issue in dev - Uncaught ReferenceError: Cannot access '_EventEmitter' before initialization

I get the error

The projet is pretty basic and works in dev mode, the database is enabled if that can be an info

I tried everything I could think off:

upgrade of wrangler
upgrade of deps
even deleting the server directory

nothing works...

Maybe it's related to something in nuxt 3.16? I don't know but having no clue where the bug is from and no indication from the logs really doesn't help

Can you please try disabling some modules (sentry)

Issue with order of unenv v2 polyfills but it is also strange because EventEmitter is native with new preset (unenv shouldn’t be used). If you can share your project somehow we can help better.

I am getting the same output for my deployment.

However when I run npx nuxthub preview I get the following errors/warning.

I was going to write a bug issue on Cloudflare, but since I saw this, I was wondering if they are related. I cant share my project unfortunately.

I tried deleting my whole app directory, my whole server directory,

I've removed pinia and nuxt image modules as they are the common things in my config and @titan-65 's config.

It still doesn't let me deploy a naked app file... :/

So I removed an error I had in mine that causing wrangler issue, and then ran npx nuxi cleanup followed by npx nuxi build and now it deployed so try that.

What was causing the issue for you? beause i literally deleted all my code but the app file and the css file...

Edit: I just tried pnpm nuxi cleanup on the repro repo, it didn't work for me unfortunately.

Hi @remiconnesson back to this, I checked your reproduction, and I see:

WARN [cloudflare] Node.js compatibility is not enabled.

Seems you are on an outdated version of @nuxthub/core. latest is 0.8.18 that has 0c9eb8b that enables native Node.js support.

If you update your @nuxthub/core dependency and lockfile this issue should not happen anymore.

I have a new error uncaught type on my main project but it's not happening with the repro so I need to isolate the issue
