Shipped in 1.2.0, out now. Double-click a picture to enter crop mode: drag to reposition, scroll or pinch to zoom, Enter commits, Escape reverts. The Picture panel has the same as Zoom and Reset. Canvas, thumbnails, the show and print all agree. About, then Check for updates, or a fresh download at bento.page. Closing. |

An image element can only be framed with
fit, andcoveralways crops from the center. There is no way to choose which part of the photo survives the crop.The case I keep running into is a portrait in a circle. I want the face centered in the circle, but the face is rarely in the middle of the source photo. Scaling the element scales the whole image, so I cannot push in on the face.
What I would like is to set which point of the image stays centered, and ideally to zoom in past
cover, the way an image mask works in Keynote.Version: 1.0.18.
