  • Wiki: bring up to v6.4.361 (self-install, ring-3 windows, NVMe, real hardware) Largest ingest yet — 139 releases. Two invariants finally moved: syscalls 57 -> 61 (ring-3 window calls 57-60), builtins ~145 -> ~209. - Installation (new): NyxOS installs itself to an ATA/NVMe disk and boots standalone (BIOS + UEFI) via nyxinstall - partitioning, ext2/FAT32-ESP formatters, GRUB install, and the from-scratch NVMe driver. - Correctness fixes: syscall count 57->61 wiki-wide + the four window syscalls (Syscalls, Syscall Reference; HOWTO example renumbered 57->61); FPU/SSE is now saved across context switches (Process Management, #40); /dev/urandom from the CSPRNG + symlinks + chmod/read-only permissions (Filesystem); corrected "no filesystem permissions" and added v6.4 hardening rows (Security). - Drivers: NVMe + AC'97. GUI: ring-3 windows, Hemera/Erebus naming, software 3D renderer, notifications/clipboard, display rotation. Boot: UEFI/GOP + real-HW. Networking: TCP recv-window flow control (#80), netstat/route/arp/httpd. Cryptography: hmac/totp/uuid/encrypt/decrypt. Command Reference: ~209 builtins, grouped v6.4 command block, shell history/$VAR/$((expr))/aliases. - N-Language: v0.22, N++ P5 (own types + #[drop]), nwin (a window drawn from N), the growing M5 toy compiler, 22-program suite. - Version History: 139 rows under a new era. Glossary: Hemera/Erebus/NVMe/nwin/ nyxinstall. Navigation, Obsidian graph group, and markers bumped to v6.4.361. Lint: 43 pages, 0 broken links / anchors / orphans.

  • Wiki: bring up to v6.4.222 (N/N++ language, encodings, bootloader framebuffer) Add a new page for N and N++, the native NyxOS language, and document 40 releases (v6.4.183-222): - N-Language (new): the two-language design, syscalls-as-language, the ncc bootstrap compiler, the v0.2-v0.15 feature line mapped to N++ P1-P4, the M0-M5 self-hosting ladder (ncc runs in-OS; M5 triangle started), and xbm install ncc. Reframed the Userspace "Nyx C" section as N's ancestor. - Cryptography and TLS: Ed25519 signature verify + new encodings/checksums (Ascii85, Base58, bech32, URL, CSV, SemVer, CRC-32C, Fletcher, Murmur, FNV). - Command Reference: new commands/coreutils (file, tar, tsort, factor, date +FORMAT, the codec commands); counts to ~145 builtins. - GUI: taskbar system tray + flyouts, Start-menu search/arrow-nav, screensaver, Cordillera wallpaper. Desktop: File Manager Type column. - Boot Process / GUI: boot on the bootloader-provided framebuffer (multiboot2/ GOP) instead of Bochs VBE (v6.4.222). - Filesystem: VFS 512-node pool + vfsstat; MAX_INODES 256->512 propagated to Architecture, Kernel Data Structures, Troubleshooting. kernel.h god-header splits noted in Architecture. - Version History: 40 rows under a new era. Glossary: N/N++/ncc. Navigation, Obsidian graph color group, and version markers bumped to v6.4.222. Lint: 42 pages, 0 broken links / anchors / orphans. Syscalls still 57.

  • Add Toolchain page and bring the wiki up to v6.4.9 Document the in-OS C toolchain on a new Toolchain page: the userland libc, the cc shell builtin, the TinyCC 0.9.27 port, and the tcc-compiles-tcc self-host milestone (the in-OS tcc compiling its own ~40k-line source to a valid x86-64 object). Refresh the surrounding pages to match: Version-History through v6.4.9, plus cross-links and content updates across the source-tree, userspace, shell, filesystem, security and reference pages.

  • Wiki: Version History to v5.9.180 (add v5.9.113-180) + bump current-version markers Adds the 68 releases v5.9.113 to v5.9.180 to Version-History: v5.9.113-126 extend the general-maintenance era, and a new 'Desktop image viewing and Selene's CSS engine' era covers v5.9.127-180. Bumps the current-release marker to v5.9.180 across Home, Index, Version-History, the footer, the Architecture KERNEL_VERSION row, Command-Reference, the FAQ release count (now 342), and the HOWTO free-syscall note. Source-Tree-Reference keeps its explicit v5.9.112 line-count snapshot (per-file counts were not recomputed).
