I can't access the web interface remotely

I can't access my NZBGet install from a remote computer (on the same network)

• I am running 25.3
• I can access NZBGet from the machine it is running on.
• I have changed the listening port to the IP address of the machine (192.168.0.2)
• The Messages show "nzbget runs on 192.168.0.2:6789", so it is on the correct IP
• I have created firewall rules for port 6789 on the computer
• I have tried using the username:password in the URL
• I have tried adding the client IP to the AuthorizedIP list

Any idea why I can't connect? I can connect to other servers running on that computer.

Quick questions to help figure this out:

• What specific error are you getting?
• What OS is the NZBGet server on?
• What OS are you trying to connect from?

It sounds like a config problem. Try these two things first:

• Temporarily disable the firewall on the server machine. If that fixes it, you know the problem is your firewall rule.
• Set ControlIP back to 0.0.0.0. As you can see in the ControlIP description, this makes NZBGet listen on all available network interfaces.

Okay, so it is definitely a firewall issue. If I disable the firewall completely, it works, but if I set rules to allow the port or the program, it is still blocked!

You might have another rule with a higher priority that's blocking the connection, as "deny" rules can often override "allow" rules. For more interactive help, feel free to join us on the official NZBGet Discord.
