History / Issue a Passport ru

Revisions

  • Document this site where the site lives Eleven pages, five topics in English and Russian plus a sidebar, covering what the protocol wiki deliberately does not: which button to press on THIS website, what each screen expects, and what to do when a wallet does not appear. The split follows the one the repositories already made. The protocol wiki explains what a passport is and why verification proves anything — that is true of every implementation. This wiki explains verify.html, creator.html and passport.html, which are true of one. A reader who needs both now has an obvious route between them; before, everything pointed at the protocol wiki and the distinction was invisible. Grounded in the interface rather than written from memory. The failure modes in Troubleshooting are the ones the site actually reports — 'connection already in progress', the Ethereum-address-is-not-a-Passport-ID case, the QR library being blocked, file:// defeating wallet injection — quoted from frontend/localization/. Every internal link and every external address was checked; the registry address and its generation come from the protocol's own deployment table. Two things are said plainly here that were easy to miss elsewhere: the on-chain card cannot be edited after minting, and losing the .odpass bundle loses the photographs permanently. Both cost money or content to learn by discovery.
