Spec review for writing-plans

Is there any value in having a design spec feedback loop in writing-plans similar to how subagent-driven-delivery has the spec and code review agents?

I attempted to take the SDD spec reviewer prompt and modify it for comparing the implementation plan against the design doc. Feels like it churns and churns with multiple attempts blowing through tokens.

For context, i currently use codex for brainstorming and writing-plans and have codex just do an exec call of codex for the design spec review. I then have claude implement the plan with SDD.

This is now implemented. The writing-plans skill has a Plan Review Loop that dispatches a plan-document-reviewer subagent to review each chunk of the plan against the spec document, with fix-and-re-review cycles until approved.
