windows prompting to open .sh file

im getting promted to open .sh file, im using windows, superpowers 3.0, claude code 2.0.20

Running the following in sequence fixed it for me. Associates .sh file with bash. You'll need to have Git Bash or similar installed

also seeing the 'prompt to open .sh file' - i wasn't originally able to see the file so chose 'open with cursor'. Thereafter, at any open the console froze tight until i uninstalled the skills. I'm sure this is specific to the native windows installer - i was a happy sp user before migrating off wsl. Seeing that all the prompts, skills and commands presume the *ux paths, I bet there's more pain to come for us formerly wsl folk.

I believe associating .sh file with Git for Windows bash shell only helps mask the problem, since it will launch the script in a separate shell instead of in claude's internal shell.

This seems to fix it for me, prepending bash before ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/hooks/session-start.sh in ~/.claude/plugins/cache/superpowers/hooks/hooks.json:

Also, the session-start.sh file had CRLF endings instead of LF endings, but haven't confirmed if this was part of the problem or not.

Yes. We have an additional bootstrap on top of the Claude defaults.
