• Added ANSI-formatted pane reads to the CLI and socket API with herdr pane read --format ansi / --ansi, preserving colors and styles for visible and recent pane output.

• Git branch and ahead/behind refreshes now run off the main loop, preventing slow Git status checks from freezing the UI.
• Update and startup flows now detect incompatible running servers earlier and give clear stop/restart guidance instead of trying to attach with a mismatched client/server protocol.
• herdr update now downloads and prepares the new binary before stopping a running server, reducing the chance of interrupting an active session when download or install preparation fails.
