What's Changed

Fixed release-0.5.x container builds by tolerating OpenTelemetry bootstrap dependency conflicts during optional instrumentation setup.
Kept OCI dependency handling scoped to the release branch so the patch can unblock downstream builds without broad dependency churn.

Verification

Backport PR #6194 merged into release-0.5.x.
PR #6194 CI completed green before merge.
