OhMyOpenSource! Guidelines

General documentation of OhMyOpenSource! - open standards, commit conventions and contribution guidelines to keep our projects clean, consistent and collaborative.

What is this?

This repository is the official handbook of the OhMyOpenSource! organization. It collects all the conventions, standards and best practices we follow across our projects - from how to write a commit message to how to structure a pull request, from how to name a branch to how to handle a release.

What's inside?

Section Description
git/ Commit conventions, branching strategy, pull request guidelines
code/ Code review practices, code style principles, documentation standards
project/ Issue tracking, semantic versioning, release process
security/ Secrets management, dependency policy
templates/ Ready-to-use templates for PRs, issues and commits

How to use this

These guidelines apply to all repositories under the OhMyOpenSource! organization. When contributing to any of our projects, please make yourself familiar with the relevant sections before opening a pull request.

If something is unclear, outdated or missing... open an issue. This is a living document, and it grows with the community.

Contributing

We welcome contributions from everyone. If you'd like to suggest a change or add a new section, please read our contribution guidelines first.
