Development Guide

Working with Terra is easy. We've provided a quick MultiMC pack to help!

MultiMC Setup

• If not already installed, install MultiMC for your OS.

1. In MultiMC, click the "Add Instance" button.
2. Next, on the right, click "Import from zip".
3. Paste https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/808105634549202974/861516078085439507/hc_terra-dev.zip into the URL space.
4. Click "OK".

Great! You now have a MultiMC instance that you can quickly test Terra on.

Installing hc_terra

1. Open a terminal.
2. git clone the repo to INSTANCE_DIR/.minecraft/config/Terra/packs/.

(If the directories do not exist, either create them, or launch your game for it to automatically generate them for you.)

You now can create a world with the world type Terra:HC_TERRA!

Development Tips

• After editing hc_terra, you can see your changes in-game without restarting by using /terra reload. New chunks loaded after running this will use your updated parameters.
• Keep your MultiMC instance window open to see errors when Terra does not load.
