Right now, tailscale is installed by piping curl into sh, which is considered suboptimal from a security standpoint, and it's harder to automatically update if it's installed this way. Tailscale developers now support installation as an Arch package, so you can follow the instructions there to update the script.
This is also the case with uv, it is now officially in the Arch Extra repository and can be installed with
sudo pacman -S uvAll reactions
