Also, passkeys do not work from the desktop app, it works if one sets up the Bitwarden extension, it would be great to also install the Bitwarden for Chromium extension automatically when installing the bitwarden service to prevent having to install the extension on multiple Chromium profiles (work, personnal, ...). It smooths out filling auth forms on web pages. And there is an extension listed in the AUR named |

I'm working on this exact feature and was coming here to start this discussion. Glad to hear that there are others that want Bitwarden to be a first class citizen in Omarchy. Right now it installs bitwarden desktop, the cli, the chrome extension and registers the Shift+Super+/ hotkey. Are there any other features y'all are looking for? |

I will keep an eye on this one as this is something that I need albeit Proton Pass instead of the others. |

I just created pr #14466 as well to create the Settings > Defaults > Password Manager menu, let me know what y'all think. |
Uh oh!
There was an error while loading. Please reload this page.
Personally, I use Bitwarden as my password manager over 1password.
I had it installed since I first downloaded Omarchy and set up some shortcuts for it.
Recently, I noticed that Omarchy made it "easier" (only through submenus instead of downloading the package) to install it:
Install > Service > BitwardenSince the install option is already there, I think it would be nice (and coherent) to have an option to set it as a default password manager.
Setup > Defaults > Password ManagerThe idea would be to replace 1password in the default keyboard shortcuts and related actions.
