I'm pretty sure changing env = GDK_SCALE, 1 solves the issue too, at least for me, since by default it runs on 2, and I'm running Omarchy on a 1080p screen. You can find this setting by navigating to setup -> monitors |

I changed the windowrule from float to tile in the ./local/share/omarchy/default/hypr/apps/steam.conf file and it helped a lot. |

Thanks a ton! Was really struggling with this and had to resort to big picture mode. |

This should be a default if thats event possible causes its in steam |

I have the same issue with prusa slicer. I couldnt find any gui settings in the app or any config files. env = GDK_SCALE,2 |

If anyone on Omarchy 4 / Hyprland is seeing their display scaling change after locking/unlocking — for example from My monitor config had been generated by hl.monitor({
output = "eDP-1",
mode = "1920x1080@60.0",
position = "0x0",
scale = 1,
})Hyprland itself handled this correctly. Running: hyprctl reloadwould immediately restore the display to The problem appeared after lock/unlock. Omarchy's monitor recovery logic was not correctly picking up the scale from the multiline FixFirst back up the config: cp ~/.config/hypr/monitors.lua ~/.config/hypr/monitors.lua.bakThen change the monitor definition so the entire rule is on one line: hl.monitor({ output = "eDP-1", mode = "1920x1080@60.0", position = "0x0", scale = 1 })Then remove Omarchy's remembered internal-monitor scale: rm -f ~/.local/state/omarchy/toggles/hypr/internal-monitor-scaleReload Hyprland: hyprctl reloadYou can confirm the result with: hyprctl monitors all -j | jq '.[] | select(.name=="eDP-1") | {name, width, height, refreshRate, scale}'Mine now stays at: even after locking and unlocking. ImportantAvoid opening So in short: Multiline One-line Hopefully this saves someone else from having to run |

Solution
In
.config/hypr/monitors.confchangeenv = GDK_SCALE,2toenv = GDK_SCALE,1, specially if you're in 1080p monitors.The change isn't immediately reflected, relaunch Hyprland either in System (SUPER+ALT+SPACE > System > Relaunch), if you're unsure what to do restart your computer.
Alternative Steam
This is not required if you performed the main solution successfully.
Open Steam and go to Steam -> Settings

Go to Interface and toggle OFF

Scale text and Icons to match monitor settingsYou should be prompted to restart Steam, otherwise restart.
