Prowl 2026.5.14
This release focuses on memory stability after the active-agent detection introduced in 2026.5.11.
New
- Split pane dividers now respect your Ghostty
split-divider-colorsetting. To also control the divider width, addprowl-split-divider-width = N(in points, 0–32) to your Ghostty config file.
Fixed
- Fixed a major memory leak in the Ghostty terminal layer where viewport text buffers were never freed, causing physical memory to grow at roughly 100–200 MB/h on long-running sessions.
- Fixed an additional leak introduced in 2026.5.11 where the active-agent detection loop allocated a Swift task per tick, adding to the footprint growth over time.
- Agent "blocked" state is now correctly detected when the cursor sits on the first option of a tall interactive menu (e.g. a long
/command list or permission prompt in Claude).
