This release focuses on CLI reliability for agent workflows and several startup and window-management fixes.

New

  • prowl read gains a --wait-stable flag that polls the pane buffer until output has stopped changing before returning, avoiding truncated reads at the moment an agent finishes generating. Use prowl read --pane <id> --last 200 --wait-stable --json; tuning flags --stable-interval, --stable-period, and --wait-timeout are available.
  • New "Show tab titles in Active Agents" setting (Appearance preferences): when enabled, each agent row shows the terminal tab title as its subtitle instead of the branch name.

Fixed

  • prowl read no longer reports truncated: true when the full scrollback buffer is available but simply holds fewer lines than requested. The flag now correctly means "the returned text may be incomplete."
  • Fixed a launch race and restoration hang where the default view (Shelf or Canvas) could fail to apply or stall indefinitely at startup.
  • Hardened main window surfacing so Prowl reliably comes to the front when clicked in the Dock or reopened, and no longer raises unrelated helper windows.
  • Worktree cleanup on a failed creation no longer requests branch deletion; directory removal is now gated on an exact path match and the presence of .git metadata.
  • Fixed a CLI socket ownership bug where a secondary app instance could unlink or replace a live socket, breaking prowl CLI connectivity.
