Security code scanning

[devbugging]

This PR implements code security scanning. It does that using two aspects, prevention of known bugs, and scanning for leaked secrets:

• the latest go command https://pkg.go.dev/golang.org/x/vuln/cmd/govulncheck using the new go vulnerability database to scann for any known issues and exploits
• using gitleaks for any leaked secrets in codebase https://gitleaks.io/index.html
