Explorer does not show new files

Oni Version: 0.3.9
Neovim Version (Linux only): 0.3.5
Operating System: Arch Linux

Issue:
When a new file is created it does not show up in the explorer automatically and there is no way to reload it manually as far as I can see.

Expected behavior:
When a new file is created it should show up in the explorer or there should be at least a reload button.

Actual behavior:
New files do not show up in the explorer and there is no way to reproduce it.

Steps to reproduce:
In oni create a new file in the folder that is open in the explorer with the edit command.
