Issue with AAC Decoder Test procedure in ODTT v24.12

Hello ONVIF Support Team,

We have observed an issue with the AAC Decoder test procedure in ODTT v24.12.

During the execution of the Media2 -> Audio Backchannel -> Unicast -> AAC tests (e.g.: MEDIA2_RTSS-3-1-7-v21.12 BACKCHANNEL – AAC (RTP-Unicast/UDP, IPv4)), ODTT no longer adds the Audio Decoder Configurations for Media profiles. This step that was in previous versions of the tool. This causes the AAC tests to fail as there are no appropriate Media profiles.

For comparison, when running the G.711 tests, ODTT continues to set up Audio Decoder Configurations based on the available configuration options.

We have checked the release notes but weren’t able to find when this change was introduced. Is this an intentional change in the ODTT v24.12? I can provide further details, such as a direct comparison with the behavior in previous ODTT versions, if it helps.

Thank you for pointing this out.
These tests were not touched since 2019. But yes they have some problems inside. I've create an issue #420 in DTT repository. We will address it shortly.
