Distiguish headstages in dropdown and headstage not found confusion

In the current dropdown, I don't see how the 1.0f and 1.0e headstages will be distinguished:

This issue came up because I did a port scan with the 1.0 headstage selected and a 1.0e headstage plugged in. Everything seemed to work as far as the breakout LEDs were concerned (purple light and all that) but then I was presented with a message saying that no headstages were detected:

Its not really that nothing was detected but that the wrong headstage was selected.

Our 1.0e and 2.0e headstages have an EEPROM that identifies them. Can it be used to say what headstage was actually detected instead of just "Headstage not found".

The plugin does try to state which headstage is discovered in this scenario, however there is a problem that if the 1.0f headstage is selected the passthrough device for that port is not enabled. In that case, I don't think that the 1.0e headstage will be reported, since the passthrough won't be able to access the headstage.
