    Open Forms treated "failed" payment statuses as final, as that was the case in Ogone.
    However, Worldline can still send valid status updates to mark the payment as
    completed, but this didn't correctly register in Open Forms. As a result,
    submissions that were awaiting registration until payment was received were never
    sent to the registration backend, despite being paid. Similarly, submissions that
    were registered never received the update signal that the payment status was now
    completed. Which behaviour applies depends on the selected mode in the global
    configuration options.

    We've included a script to automatically re-check the payment status of failed
    payments, and trigger the registration (or registration update) behaviour if the
    payment turns out to be completed/successful after all. You can run this through:

    The optional ``--dry-run`` flag will report which payments/submisions are affected
    without making any changes.

    **Note** Depending on your submission retention configuration, it is possible that
    there are more submission payments affected by this that are no longer present in
    the database, so unfortunately we cannot verify and correct those. If you still have
    the container logs, you can search for the ``payment_status_final`` event with log
    level ``WARNING`` to find additional occurrences. The structured log data includes
    the public order ID and wordline status that you can use to correlate payments in
    the Worldline portal with your backoffice system. An example log line looks like:
