Spaces in Camera Apps

I was thinking about how to reduce the need to retroactively go through pictures and add them to a given space such as "Family" and so I had this idea to somehow capture this when shooting the photo so the disconnect is prevented. I took a look with Claude and here is the detailed proposal if you are open to add this, maybe game-changer for some people!

Hey, this is a cool idea, but for now it's beyond the scope of what I'd like to support. It's too big of a project and has a very large testing surface.

Fair, the per-OEM testing surface is probably the biggest chunk of it. Could maybe be phased though for example start with less than a handful of camera apps (Samsung, Google, etc.) which already covers a big share of Android users, and add more later whenever there's a chance to support new stuff, so the focus is on the UI and overlay implementation in the first iteration.

Either way this is kind of an end-game thing for spaces in my head, so maybe worth another look once spaces are more settled and many of the nice features you are working on land and are stabilized (space albums already changed how I use spaces, thanks for that!), if you'd be more open to it then.
